2015 Ghana Basketball Awards Tertiary Player of the Year Romeo Wilfred Enan has signed for Tunisian Division I club J.S Manazeh.
The 6 foot 10 inch Center signed for the Tunisian side following a standout performance in Ivory Coast’s participation in this year’s African Nations Championship (AfroBasket).
Enan averaged seven rebounds in three games as the Elephants crashed out of the competition in the preliminary round after falling in Group A to the likes of 2015 Champions Nigeria.
He is in line to play for the Tunisian club tonight against Ezzahra after beating AS Marsa 68-55 in its last outing in the league. Manazeh lost 63-69 to ES Sahel before playing Ezzarha.
Manazeh lie third in Group B of the elite North African league which seven teams competing in Groups A and B respectively.
Playing in North Africa is the latest stop for the former Accra Technical University and Accra Basketball League (ABL) Men’s Division I star performer’s career.
After playing for Braves of Customs in Ghana, Enan starred in the Kwese Nigerian Premier Basketball League for Kwara Falcons but played for Kano Pillars in 2016’s African Club Championship.
