Qualification games for the 2019 Sprite Ball Championship are about to heat up in the coming days in the aftermath of the Ashanti Region’s contest.

Powerhouses Opoku Ware School and Prempeh College topped the Boys Division and Kumasi Girls High School and St. Louis Senior High School topped the Girls Division.

However, representatives in the remaining regions under consideration for the upcoming Championship will be confirmed in the final week of November and early week of December.

Qualifiers in the Central Region and Greater Accra Region will be played on November 29 and December 8; the Greater Accra qualifiers is scheduled to commence on December 6 and end on December 8.

Those in the Eastern Region will be played in a similar way as the competition is set to start on November 29 and end December 1 at the Koforidua Technical University.

Last year’s top three teams in the boys division Osu Presec, Mfantsipim School and Pope John represented the aforementioned regions.
