Mother to di former wife of Ooni of Ife, Naomi Silekunola don beg di families of di deceased and di parents of di victims of di Ibadan stampede make dem forgive im daughter.

She dey tok as di former queen alongside three individuals dey remanded for prison after dem appear bifor Iyaganku Magistrate Court for Ibadan.

According to reports, dem dey face charges bordering on conspiracy, negligent acts causing harm, and failure to provide adequate security and medical facilities for di event.

She and di oda defendants go still remain for custody until dem appear again for court on January 13.

Ogunseyi inside one interview wit Daddy Freeze, ask Nigerians make dem help am beg di goment make dem release her daughter wey dey for custody.

She tok say di event suppose hold around 10:00 am but dem don dey hear say pipo don dey already crash di event bifor 5:00 am and dem dey throw dia pikin ova di fence to access di venue.

She explain say afta di stampede happun, na Naomi go report give police but di police detain am since dat time.

"Around 6:00 am we hear say sometin happun, some women dey throw dia pikin ova di fence and stampede happun during di event," she tok.

"I dey ready to visit di parents and apologise to dem, I just dey beg for mercy at dis time. I no dey happy about di situation, my pikin no dey happpy about di situation.

Dis no be wetin we plan for, we no intend to kill pipo, infact we no even get to di venue till today, we no fit get dia. The crowd too much and we run go report give police, make everybody help me beg make dem to release my pikin.

"Make dem help me beg di families wey lose dia pikin during di funfair event dis December. We don dey do am for ova one decade but we neva witness any of dis kain tin."

Ogunseyi say dem make proper arrangement for security but di security officials suppose come monitor di event around 8:00 am but pipo don dey already crash di event around 4:30 am.

She explain say dia own security personnel bin dey on ground and dem sleep ova night for di venue to protect di venue.

Also, Akinfolarin Ogunseyi, broda to Naomi tok say no be im sista first time of organising di event and dem make proper security arrangement for di Christmas funfair for Ibadan.

Im explain say di crowd become uncontrollable becos some pipo sleep for di venue and afta di stampede, all di gifts dem intend to share go into waste becos of di sad incident.

E say dem no get any notice say she go stay for police custody but she don already go magistrate court and dem remand im sista.

"Becos dis don happun, I no tink say make dem sacrifice my sista. You no fit get control of humans make dem get sympathy on her.

Make dem no let my sista die, she be soft girl wey no like wahala. Nigerians abeg advocate for my sista make dem release am."

On 24 December, former queen of Ile-Ife, Naomi Silekunola Ogunwusi, Oriyomi Hamzat, wey be senior manager of one radio station in Ibadan, oga of one Islamic High School for Bashorun, Ibadan, appear bifor court ova di death of 35 pikin for di venue.

Justice Olabisi Ogunkanmi of di Iyaganku Magistrate Court in Ibadan, Oyo State, order di remand of di defendants until 13 January.

Also, Nigeria President Bola Tinubu react as im sympathise wit di families wey lose dia loved ones.

Oga Tinubu say make relevant authorities investigate wetin cause di incident.

"Our children safety and well-being remain paramount. No event suppose compromise dia safety or take precedence ova dia lives."

Afta di incident, di Oyo State Police Command say dem gbab Naomi and two odas ova di stampede wey happun for Ibadan wia 35 pikin die.

"So far, thirty-five minors don dey documented to don die while six odas dey critically injured and on various medical interventions," di statement tok.
