Families of Celine Ndudim and Afiba Tandor dey appeal to goment to help dem find di two missing girls

Two months after Celine Ndudim and her friend Afiba Tandor miss, dia families still get hope say dem dey alive.

Di two girls go missing after dem go visit a friend of Celine, Andrew Amechi from Aba, Abia State for Southeastern Nigeria wey allegedly kidnap dem on 27 April, 2024.

Celine elder sister, Theresa Ndudim tell BBC Pidgin say despite di way her disappearance dey affect di family, dem hope say dem go receive her alive and well.

"Make goment help us for dia investigation, find dem for us. If not for anytin but for di sake of my mother make dem help us becos since wey she hear di mata, she dey down. Evriday she dey cry say she wan see her pikin. I beg make goment put mouth for dia mata."

Theresa say Celine know Afiba through anoda of dia friend Blessing, and dem become close wen Afiba contract her to make clothes for her.

She last see her on 16 April 2024 wen di two of dem come visit her and dem go Port Harcourt to see Blessing before dem travel to Aba. She know of her disappearance after Blessing inform her and na she go report to di issue to Police for Aba.

She add say di family no dey happy with di way police don handle dis mata since dem report to dem and di girls still dey missing till now two months later.

"We no feel ok becos wen we hear di tori, we run go meet police pipo for Aba but dem no take action as dem suppose take action na wetin make we still dey for dia case. If to say dem do wetin dem suppose do wen I report di mata, I no tink say by dis time we go still dey tok about dis issue."

“My father especially dey feel bad say na for im own land, im father-land na im im pikin dey miss and up till now e never take eye see im pikin.
