International Hall of Fame Inductee, Azumah Nelson, in collaboration with HeMann Promotions, will stage the fifth edition of the Azumah Nelson Fight Night at the Bukom Boxing Arena, Accra on December 9, 2017.
Headlining the bout on the night will be Ghanaian Super Featherweight Champion, Wahab Oluwaseum, who will be facing off with fellow Ghanaian, Bright Ayala, for the vacant WBO Pan African Super Featherweight title.
The fight competition, which was started last year under the leadership of Azumah Nelson, will also set the stage for a crunch battle between Ghanaian, Kpakpo Allotey, and Robert Quaye for the National Super Lightweight belt.
Hard puncher, Felix Ajom, will battle Abraham Osei Bonsu for the vacant National Super Featherweight strap while Wassiu Mohammed will face Success Tetteh in a Super Bantamweight contest.
Having begun last year with the Azumah Nelson VIP Fight Night at the plush Kempinski Hotel for the first two editions to attract the patronage of corporate and business community necessary for marketing and sponsorship, the venue shifted to the newly built Bukom Boxing Arena which hosted the third edition back in April this year, amid a resounding success.
The competition went a notch higher in quality and competition in the last fourth with invitation of boxers from the United Kingdom (UK) to spice up the show.
