According to the Former Black Stars player Baffour Gyan, his promotional house is ready to help former IBO champion, Emmanuel ‘Game Boy’ Tagoe win the world title in the shortest possible time.

Speaking during a media soiree held at THE GYM, the co-owner of babyJet Promotions reiterated their firm resolve to help Emmanuel Tagoe achieve the feat.

“We are ready to help ‘Game Boy’ win the world title. Everything is in place for him to achieve that feat. As you are aware, Emmanuel Tagoe was once a world champion in the IBO division. But Ghanaians were not in support of the IBO title so we decided to move to the WBO and to start all over again. We’ve listened to Ghanaians, now we are going for the WBO Africa then the world title.” Baffour told UTV.

Emmanuel Tagoe is aiming for the world title but before that there is the small business of one Paulus Moses he must get past.

Dubbed the Asamoah Gyan Fight Night 1, the bout is billed on the 20 day of the month of October 2018, at the Bukom Boxing Arena in Accra – Ghana.

It happens to be the maiden promotional debut for BabyJet Promotions which now has the very experienced Abraham Neequaye as it’s new Chief Executive Officer and a three time world champion coach in Adama Addy.

Moses Paulus, a Namibian who held the WBA lightweight strap from 2009 to 2010 and was recently floored by Raymundo Beltran early this year for the vacant WBA lightweight title over 12 rounds, is a very tricky customer.

But the very confident Ghanaian fighter is in the best shape ever as could be seen in training and gradually building up momentum towards the fight.

Tagoe, a former holder of a plethora of titles including WBO Africa, IBF intercontinental and WBA Pan-Africa straps, earlier in an interview with BoxingGhana, promised to adopt a different style of boxing come the fight night just to delight his fans and the people of Ghana.

Among the mouth-watering undercards worthy of note is the blockbuster between Nathaniel Kpakpo Allotey ‘The Punisher’ and Robert Quaye ‘The Stopper.’

There is also Offei Dodoo against Ishmael Aryeetey and Raphael King versus Abdul Aziz Quartey just to mention a few.
