Banku - Powers fight is off

Bank wont fight Powers again Bank wont fight Powers again

The much-anticipated showdown between Braimah “Bukom Banku” Kamoko (27-0, 20 KO’s) and Michael Ayitey “Powers” (21-24-1, 17 KO’s) hangs in the balance as the undefeated Cruiserweight boxer requested for a new date, slamming the sponsors for plotting against him.

The card, sponsored by Joy Dadi Bitters, had been scheduled to come off on the 26 December at the Kumasi Sports Stadium; but Kamoko has asked for the bout, dubbed the “Repeat or Revenge,” to be rescheduled to 26 February, 2016.

Kamoko on Saturday released a video of himself citing a lot of reasons why he is requesting for a new date.

Below is the transcript of Kamoko’s video.

“Joy Dadi’s people are our fathers, they asked for a return fight and they put Range Rover on it. I will beat Ayitey Powers to take the car home. Secretly someone revealed to me that Joy Dadi are supporting Ayitey Powers to beat me because they have bribed the judges and the referee.

“I don’t understand. On our contract signing they branded Ayitey Powers with Joy Dadi T-shirt and they left me. I don’t understand it because Dr. Manfred and Dr. Harry are like fathers to me and I was wondering why they treated me like that, because they want to disgrace my work and disgrace me.

“So December 26 I’m not fighting. If they are supporting Ayitey Powers to beat me then they should be ready for February 26 because I’m ready for February and I will kill Ayitey and the Range Rover I don’t like it.

“God will bless Joy Dadi people, I have not insulted them because they are my fathers. But what they just did against me wasn’t the right thing. God has created the world already before Jesus Christ was born, always I do receive blessings from Chief Imam in Ghana so I don’t fear any Satan.”
