Undefeated Ghanaian boxer Braimah Kamoko, aka “Bukom Banku”, is yet to confirm if he will fight highly rated boxer Bastie Samir in December after taking 5,000 Ghana cedis from boxing promoters, McDon Boxing Promotions.
According to promoters of the upcoming boxing bout, McDon Boxing Promotion, Bukom Banku is yet to confirm if he will fight on the fateful day after agreeing in principle to fight US based Bastie Samir in December.
Although promoters of the boxing bout are yet to report the incident to the Ghana Boxing Authority for Banku’s disregard of his word to fight in December, CEO of McDon Boxing Promotions, McDon Atitsogbe, says his outfit will push for the undefeated Banku to fight on the fateful day or risk suffering the wrath of his company.
“He has taken money and the money is huge, so why is he saying he is not going to fight, for the start he agreed to fight December against Samir Bastie. Bastie is in the country now, he will be going to the USA this week.
“If Bukom agrees to fight him in December Bastie will return and fight him, you cannot agree in principle and decide not to fight again, is he afraid or what is he taking us for?
