Isaac Dogboe’s adviser, Mike Altamura, has replied WBO World super bantamweight champion Jessie Magdaleno over claims that his charge has failed to sign the proposed fight’s contract.

Magdaleno in a social media post threw shades at Dogboe stressing that the Ghanaian is dragging his feet in signing the contract for the fight.

But according to Altamura, the reason why Dogboe has not signed the contract is that Magdaleno’s promoter Top Rank is yet to send the contract.

“I told Top Rank – and I’m still waiting on the final agreement – Magdaleno’s said a couple of things in the press saying we haven’t signed,” he told Boxing Scene.

‘We haven’t signed because his promoter hasn’t sent me a final agreement, yet. But we’ll sign straight away. I’ve asked for there to be extreme conditions if (Magdaleno) doesn’t make weight and we’ll counter-sign the same conditions,” he added.

Dogboe -who is promoted by Rising Star Africa Promotions – stopped Cesar Juarez in five rounds on January 6th to win the interim title. Juarez, who was the number one contender in the WBO was scheduled to face Magdaleno back in November before Magdaleno pulled out of the fight claiming an injury.
