The Ministry of Education and Sports is to ask the Cuban government to provide the country with a Cuban boxing coach in a bid to unearth and develop boxing talents the country has been endowed with.
To that end, the Deputy Minister of Education and Sports, O.B. Amoah travelled to the Spanish speaking country to establish a permanent co-operation with the Cuban government.
The collaboration is to also enable Ghanaians to travel to Cuba to train as sports Coaches, Physiotherapists and Managers.
The Director in charge of Sports Development at the Ministry of Education and Sports, Dr. Owusu Ansah told Citi FM that Honourable O.B. Amoah is expected to sign the necessary documents whilst in Cuba.
?The Minister will sign the agreement with the Cuban government so that the sports development collaboration will take off". "He will also make a case for Ghanaians to travel to Cuba to train as Physiotherapists, Managers and Coaches?, he added.
