‘I’ll Bring Coffin To The Ring’

Stylish boxer Emmanuel ‘Game Boy’ Tagoe has planned a weird entry into the ring for his upcoming bout against Filipino opponent Joebert Delos Reyes this Friday.

Tagoe, currently in camp at Asylum Down, Accra, told DAILY GUIDE SPORTS that he would mount the ring in a coffin to signify his fury.

Tagoe’s spectacular entry to the ring has always left his fans and audience in a state of awe, and he has promised to take it a notch higher in their vacant World Boxing Association (WBA) title fight.

Winner of the bout will automatically break into the first 10 WBA rankings and inch closer to a world title shot later this year.

“I will enter the ring in a coffin because this fight means a lot to me. I have already bought the coffin and ordered for clothes for the undertakers.

“The undertakers will be in an all-black outfit with a white cross in front of the robe. I will deal with my opponent and put him in the coffin. Fans should be there on time to see things for themselves.

“After brushing him aside, I will deal with some local boxers who are making noise, then move to my ultimate – the world title,” Tagoe said.

His promoters, Baby Jet Promotions, however, are convincing him to rescind his decision, a source to the syndicate has said.

An alternative entry in a kingly cloth under an umbrella is a possibility.

Tagoe, considered as the King of Ghana boxing in his division, last entered the ring in a palanquin.
