Ghanaian boxer Joshua Clottey has revealed in an interview with SVTV Africa that he has never sought for spiritual powers or ‘juju’ to help him win bouts in his boxing career.

According to the former World Champion, he has never used ‘Juju’ in his life before and that all the fights that he won against top boxers cannot be attributed to that.

The former IBF Welterweight Champion named some of the boxers he has fought against and stated emphatically that he won them out of his boxing prowess and not because of any spiritual backing.

” I never ever ever used ‘juju’ in my life. If I have ever gone to see a Mallam to do something for me because I have a fight, I should die. If I have used Juju before and am lying I should die.” Joshua Clottey told SVTV Africa’s DJ Nyaami.

oshua during the interview also rubbished reports that he was arrested for assaulting a footballer.

According to him, it was a story fabricated by the footballer on social media just to tarnish his hard-earned reputation and that he should do the needful by clearing the air on that.

He threatened to curse the footballer if he doesn’t say the truth.
