The highly-anticipated boxing night featuring former world champions Joseph Agbeko and Joshua Clottey on the same bill, has been tentatively set for July 15 at Accra Sports Stadium, bukomboxingnews.com has reported.

The card, dubbed “Legendary Boxing Night” will be promoted by Box Office Promotions in conjunction with Fresh King Entertainment and was initially scheduled for April 29.

Confirming the news about the bout, a source close to the promoters told Bukomboxingnews.com that the “Legendary Night Boxing” is back on, barring any last minute mishaps.

According to the source, Everything is on course and a July 15 date has tentatively been fixed.

Agbeko (30-5, 23 KO’s) will take on Tanzania’s Haji Juma (16-8-5, 8 KO’s) in a bantamweight clash, while welterweight Clottey (35-5, 22 KO’s) will meet Anderson Clayton (44-10-2, 38 KO’s) from Brazil.

The card will also feature Ghanaian lightweight contender Emmanuel Tagoe (25-1, 12 KO’s) making the second defense of his WBA international lightweight belt against Filipino Carlo Magali (20-7-3, 10 KO’s).

George Ashie (25-4-1, 18 KO’s) will return to the ring against compatriot Michael Ansah (10-4-2, 7 KO’s) in a lightweight duel.
