Ghana?s world title hopeful, Ike Bazooka Quartey is likely to take a world title shot against Kassim Ouma in November this year.
Ouma who beat Ghanaian middleweight, Kofi Jantuah earlier this year is the current IBF junior middleweight champion.
Quartey returned from the US late last month where he beat Verno Phillips in his second comeback bout.
He paid a courtesy call on Education and sports minister, Yaw Osafo Maafo at the sports ministry on Friday.
Ike assured the Sports minister that he would bring the world title to Ghana before the end of the year.
Ike Quartey however complained to the sports minister about the US embassy?s refusal to grant his sparing partner, Braimah Kamoko the traveling visa to travel with him to prepare for his fight against Verno Phillips.
Honourable Yaw Osafo Maafo however assured Quartey of government?s support in his quest to win a world title.
