Ghana’s Emmanuel ‘Game Boy’ Tagoe has dropped out of the World Boxing Association (WBA) top 15 rated lightweight boxers in the world.
Last month the Ghanaian was rated number 15, but he has now lost his position in the latest rankings.
Tagoe currently holds the IBO lightweight belt and he will be making his first defense of the belt against former world champion Argenis Mendez on September 2nd.

In the WBA super featherweight rankings, Ghana’s Raphael Mensah has moved to second. Mensah last month was ranked number 3, and with his latest improvement in the rankings he is close in getting a world title.
Jezreel Corrales currently holds the WBA World super featherweight belt.
