Nigerian billionaire businessman, Femi Otedola, has disclosed one of his philosophies that have shaped his success.

He only revealed that one of the worst days of his life was when he lost one billion dollars.

He made this known in an interview with broadcast journalist, Peace Hyde.

Femi Otedola stated: "I have worst days. When I lost a billion dollars.

"When I set about my journey in business, I had two things in mind then. The first one was, where there was a will, you could get whatever you wanted to get.

"Just have the killer instinct. The second thing, I said to myself, I don't want to have friends and enemies. I was going to have only competitors. So that sets out my journey."
