1st National Bank offer GH¢3million to farmers

Cape Coast, June 5, GNA - The 1st National Bank, an indigenous financial entity, has provided 42 farmers with GH¢3,000,000.00 to expand their farms under the Millennium Development Accounts (MIDA) project. The General Manager, Mr Charles Otoo made this known to the Ghana Ne ws Agency during the opening of the 27th branch of the bank in Cape Coast on

Friday.

He said the bank has the cheapest agricultural loan for farmers and fishermen at an interest rate of 15 per cent to help them expand producti on. The Cape Coast Main Branch brings to seven the number of branches opened in the Central Region. Mr. Otoo said the bank also assists small and medium scale businesse s. The Cape Coast Branch Manager, Mr Bright Edem Droefenu observed that

about 70 per cent of Ghanaians are not concerned about how much money the y are charged by the banks but rather how they are served. He said 1st national Bank, offers the best customer service and cal led on Ghanaians to do business with them for them to benefit from their numerous products that seeks to better their living standards. Reverend Isaac Buadu of the Holy Spirit Cathedral who consecrated t he bank's premises advised the staff to stay united, eschew laziness and put in their best to attract more customers.
