In partnership with Multimedia Group Limited, ‘The Knowledge Ghana Project’ has been launched today, January 15 2019 in Accra to open up strategic opportunities on intellectual growth and capabilities of public servants.

The project is a brain-child of Knowledge Kinetics Organisation, a nongovernmental organisation aimed at transforming Ghana into an information society and a knowledge-based economy that would enhance the efficiency in general policy making.

As part of its underpinnings, the Knowledge Ghana Project plans to collate and make available to public the service standards and procedures of all MDAs and MMDAs to improve service delivery.

It also intends to eradicate corrupt practices including extortion of money in exchange for government services such as provision of passports, Driver’s Licence among others.

Speaking at the launch of the project, Chairman for the board, Dr Samuel Otabil said the program is expected to create a society where the average Ghanaian would be aware of to 99.9% of all information relevant to him or her.

He also established that with the help of the project, regulatory and utility services would be able to attend to issues of public concern timeously to save resources and human life.

“Up until now we believe the public and regulatory services have not been doing enough at all. There’s also the saying that there’s a lot of cheats there plus they take advantage of people’s ignorance before offering services to them. Due to this, we plan to assist them in the course of knowledge dissemination and service delivery”. He indicated

The organisation also plans to secure a downloadable app known as the “KnowApp” as one of its platforms where public knowledge and information would be dispersed
