2nd Lady commends Karela Resort for promoting Nzulezu

Second lady Matilda Amissah-Arthur has commended Karela Beach Resort, a new four star hotel for promoting tourism at Nzulezu.

She said Karela's initiative will attract hordes of tourists to the Nzulezu.

Inaugurating the Resort at Beyin in the Jomoro District last weekend, Mrs Amissah-Arthur said: “We must help the management of Karela Resort to achieve their mission and vision by ensuring that the facility is given the needed support.”

She called on the various agencies in the hospitality industry to put in place measures that would seek to promote their area of jurisdiction to help attract more tourists and investors to the area.

A Director of the Resort, Abena Brigidi said the 40-room Hotel is focused on serving its clients with the best services.

“Karela is committed to attracting all clients to experience the best services from our dedicated and hardworking staff,” Brigidi said.

“It is tangible evidence that we are delivering on the commitments made by Karela Beach Resort and would call on all to support our good course to help raise the quality standard of the tourism industry in the rural part of the Western region” she emphasised.

The Omanhene of Western Nzema Traditional Council Awulae Annor Adjaye III lauded the move by the Management of Karela Beach Resort to promote Nzemaland through tourism and urged that professionalism must be the hallmark of its staff.
