36 leading brands, top marketing professionals honoured at 8th MWA

About thirty-six (36) top marketing professionals and leading brands across Africa were honoured at the 8th Marketing World Awards which was held at Movenpick Ambassador Hotel.

Now in its 8th year, the event was on the theme; “celebrating brands & individuals that work tirelessly and passionately”.

Marketing World Awards (MWA) recognizes outstanding performances across marketing communications industry in Africa, where Organizations and individuals that have delivered superior product values to the market and exhibited excellence in upholding concrete marketing strategies, displayed uniqueness and among offerings, convey clear message to its consumers and stand out from the competition are rewarded and celebrated.

Addressing the media at the awards ceremony, Mr. Akin Naphtal, the CEO of Instinct Wave said, “Marketing World Awards being Pan African is designed to celebrate individuals and organizations that have put Africa on the map of global marketing with their extraordinary exploits. Developments made in the areas of digital, experiential, media, stewardship, efficiency, innovation, corporate social responsibility and creativity is what is celebrated”.

Mr. Naphtal added that “Indeed we have come far, this event being the 8th edition we are looking forward to more exciting years with more innovative packages which will include participants from Kenya, Liberia and other African countries. The event remains one of the most credible industry awards that have brought about a healthy competition among professionals in the Marketing industry, while recognizing the efforts and innovative campaigns driven by marketing professionals”.

MWA, now a Pan African event featured new categories which brought industry stakeholders in the ever growing, challenging and exciting world of marketing communications industry from Nigeria as well.

Some award winners lauded Instinct Wave, Organizers of the event for their continuous dedication, recognition and support to organizations and stakeholders in the marketing communications industry.
