Women in PR Ghana, a professional networking platform for Women in the Public Relations, Communications, and media fraternity will hold its annual summit at Tomreik Hotel on 6th July, 2019.

The serene hotel located just on the Lagos Avenue at East Legon is opening its doors and plush state-of-the-art facilities to host the 3rd edition of Women in PR Ghana Summit.

The annual summit which brings together practitioners, industry persons and students has become one of the flagship events of the year for Senior Women in PR and Communications who desire to impart knowledge through their experiences and journey; mid-level to young professionals who wish to gain more knowledge of how to climb up the corporate ladder in their organizations and PR Students who are seeking for guidance in making career choices while in school and beyond.

The theme for this year’s summit “Collaborate, Inspire, Lead” seeks to encourage and motivate PR professionals to ‘pool their intellectual resources’ together, share ideas and lead for change in their various organizations.

Topics to be delivered and discussed will include: The next generation of PR Women, Fostering strategic collaboration in the digital era, putting entrepreneurship into PR, The Relevance of social media and organizational context in PR management and applying emotional intelligence to leadership with breakout sessions that gives participants the opportunity to acquire more relevant and practical approach to improving their professional skills.

Founder of Women in PR Ghana, Ms Faith Senam Ocloo remarks “We have set out to make Women in PR Ghana an important avenue for learning, networking, mentoring and sharing. This year’s event will be an exceptional one which will push for PR Women to excel at their respective work places and bring value to the profession and their organizations. Aside the intellectual presentations, we will also have more up-close with experts in specific areas of interest”

Women in PR Ghana has since launching in 2017 been creating infinite learning and networking support and opportunities for Women in the profession by connecting them to resourceful personalities and creating an avenue for improved and continuous self-development.
