Ghana’s major ICT show goes to Tamale, Cape Coast and Kumasi
AITEC Ghana has been the key capacity building and driving marketing force for the West African computing, telecommunications and broadcasting business for the last 7 years. Its annual event AITEC West Africa is promoted throughout Ghana and the sub-region through Africa’s most authoritative ICT trade journal Computers in Africa, which is published by them.
This year, AITEC plans a major makeover for AITEC West Africa 2003.
The Vice President, VISA (CEMEA) Stuart Brocklehurst, will deliver a key note on electronic payments options for e-commerce at AITEC 2003 conference. Under the theme ‘Harnessing the Potential and Opportunities of ICT’s for Sustainable Development: Words into Action’. AITEC 2003 will bring over 100 key decision makers for two days of intensive presentations and workshops given by eminent speakers.
New concepts will include a week of activities to launch the show throughout AITEC Technology Week. A one-day ICT Forum will take place in three regional centres in Tamale, Kumasi and Cape Coast where AITEC West Africa exhibitors will be invited to display graphics and literature to promote their services to the local business community.
This year’s exhibition will also feature specialist service provider zones for Telecommunications, the Internet, ICT Training and JobSearch. AITEC Ghana will also host the first computing solutions event exclusively targeting Apple Computers.
