Accra Bourse continues surge

Accra, Nov. 5, GNA - The GSE All-Share Index, the benchmark measure of performance of the Ghana Stock Exchange, rose by 6.93 points during Friday's trading session to 6,914.81 points.

The change for the year to date is 24.09 per cent.

Gainers for the session were Enterprise Insurance Company Limited (EIC), which was up GH¢0.05 to close at GH¢2.01; Fan Milk Limited (FML) and Standard Chartered Bank Ghana Limited (SCB), which went up by GH¢0.03 each to close at GH¢9.22 and GH¢44.45 respectively; Ecobank Ghana Limited (EBG), which appreciated GH¢0.02 to close at GH¢3.02 and Total Petroleum Ghana Limited (TOTAL), which gained GH¢0.01 to close at GH¢9.36.

Aluworks Limited (ALW) lost GH¢0.02 to close at GH¢0.17. Traded volume closed the session at 486,366 shares valued at GH¢375,755.78.

Of the 17 equities that sold shares, Cal Bank Limited (CAL) led the pack with 308,100 of its shares valued at GH¢92,430.00. Market Capitalisation closed the session at GH¢19,984.81 million.
