Managing Director of the Accra Digital Center, Mr Eric Kofi Nkansah Fosu has been adjudged the best Public Sector CEO in Africa at the Africa Public Sector Conference and Awards (APSCA) held in Accra sponsored by Rwanda Air.
The young man also known as NPP footsoldiers President won the award from a pool of other competitors in Africa. MyNewsGh.com officially covered the event that saw many captains of state companies present.
The aim of the award and conference is to gather great minds across Africa to unite and celebrate outstanding achievement in the Africa public sector and lift the veil on exceptional public servants that have made Africa proud.
Profile of Kofi Ofosu Nkansah
Eric Ofosu Nkansah is the Managing Director of the Accra Digital Centre, a Government of Ghana Business Process Outsourcing (BPO)/Information Communication Technology (ICT) Centre, under the Ministry of Communications.
As MD, he is leading the operationalisation of the Digital Centre to provide the requisite infrastructure and support services to host BPO and ICT companies, Technology SMEs and startups, as part of efforts to create Digital jobs for Ghanaians and position Ghana as a BPO/ICT hub of the sub-region.
Ofosu Nkansah is a Telecom/IT professional with 12-years post-qualification experience in the Telecom/IT Industry. He spent 10 years in the Telecom Industry, as a Billing, Business Intelligence (BI) and Charging/IN Engineer with Multinational mobile operator MTN, and possesses extensive knowledge in Telecom/IT systems management and working with cross-functional teams. He also had stints with Ghana Free Zones Board and Ghana Water Company Ltd in various IT roles.
