Accra bourse begins week on quiet note

Accra, Dec. 10, GNA - The Ghana Stock Exchange began the week on a quiet note on Monday with the GSE All-Share Index, the main market indicator of the bourse, rising by 1.44 points. The index closed up at 6,420.04 points from 6,418.60 points on Thursday. Traded shares climbed slightly to 68,800 shares from 58,700 shares.

Change year to date was up at 28.25 per cent. On the broader market four price changes, all positive. Ecobank Ghana Limited gained 0.0004 GH cedis to close at 1.6830 GH cedis, Goil Ghana Limited also up by 0.0038 GH cedis at 0.2650 GH cedis, SG-SSB Bank gained 0.0001 Gh cedis at 1.2204 GH cedis and Unilever also inched up by 0.0001 GH cedis 2.1006 GH cedis. Market capitalisation rose marginally at 12,247.71 GH cedis from 12,246.82 million GH Cedis.
