Accra bourse dips on Ghana Commercial Bank's loss

Accra, Sept. 5 GNA - The Ghana Stock Exchange (GSE) All Share Index took a plunge of 8.42 points on Tuesday on account of 158 cedis loss by the Ghana Commercial Bank (GCB).

The main market indicator fell to 4,906.01 points from 4,914.43 points on Monday. Change for the year was 2.87 per cent. A total of 89,100 shares changed hands with ALUWORKS selling 24,600 shares.

On the broader market GCB lost 158 cedis to close trading at 6,150 cedis while ECOBANK gained two cedis at 11,822 cedis and ALUWORKS also made a cedi gain at 7,003 cedis.

Market Capitalisation was 97,503.27 billion cedis.
