Accra bourse falls to reverse gains

Accra, June 29, GNA - The Accra bourse slipped in trading on Tuesday

with the GSE All-Share Index, the main measure, lower by 3.95 points to close at 6,591.16 points from 6,595.11 points at the previous close. Total volumes were twice higher at 510,833 Shares valued at GH¢172,255.53 compared with 289,406 shares valued at GH¢108,217.62 on

Monday. On the broader market, there were five price changes - two positive and three negative. The gainers were Ayrton Drug Manufacturing Company up GH¢0.01 at GH ¢0.17 and Unilever Ghana Limited rose GH¢0.05 at GH¢3.60. Laggards include State Insurance Company (SIC) down GH¢0.01 at GH¢ 0.33, SG-SSB Bank lower GH¢0.01 at GH¢0.63 and UT Bank fell GH¢0.01 at GH ¢0.29.
