Accra bourse inches up after a series of poor runs

Accra, Dec. 7, GNA - The Ghana Stock Exchange (GSE) recovered slightly in trading on Wednesday after a series of poor runs that pushed it further into the red. The GSE All-Share Index, the main index, ended better by 0.12 points at 4,792.65 points from 4,792.53 points on Tuesday. Change for the year stood still at -29.51 per cent.

There was only one price change, a two-cedi gain by Guinness Ghana Breweries Limited at 7,722 cedis. Market capitalisation was better at 91,919.81 billion cedis from 91,919.48 billion cedis on Tuesday. Shares that changed hands fell to 42,800 from 70,100 on Tuesday.
