Accra bourse index continues descent

Accra, June 16, GNA - The GSE All-Share Index suffered a further decline on Wednesday, going down 41.8 points to close 6,433.91 points fro m 6,476.54 points. Traded volumes closed the session lower at 314,621 shares valued at GH¢492,332.77. On the broader market, there were six price changes - four negative and two positive.

Ghana Commercial Bank (GCB) declined GH¢0.o2 at GH¢1.28, Ecobank Ghana Limited (EBG) fell GH¢0.05 at GH¢3.25, Benso Oil Palm Plantation dipp ed GH¢0.02 at GH¢0.71 and Guinness Ghana Breweries Limited (GGBL) was do wn GH¢0.10 at GH¢1.55. Gainers for the session were Standard Chartered Bank (SCB) up GH¢0. 06 at GH¢42.56 and Unilever Ghana Limited was up GH¢0.01 at GH¢3.41. Market Capitalization closed the session lower at GH¢18,118.63 mill ion from GH¢18,102.08 million.
