Accra bourse index continues upward rise

Accra, June 21, GNA - The GSE All-Share Index, the benchmark measure of performance of the Accra Bourse, gained for the third successive time, go ing up 164.67 points to close at 6,780.87 points in a thin volume.

Traded volumes closed the session 256,388 shares valued at GH¢349,245.58. On the broader market, there were seven price changes - five positiv e and two negative.

Ghana Commercial Bank (GCB) rose GH¢0.14 at GH¢1.79, Ecobank Transnational Incorporated (ETI) up GH¢0.01 at GH¢0.16, Benso Oil Pal m Plantation (BOPP) climbed GH¢0.03 at GH¢0.75.

Other gainers for the session were CAL Bank (CAL) up GH¢0.01 at GH ¢0.26 and Guinness Ghana Breweries Limited (GGBL) gained GH¢0.01 at GH¢1.56 .. Decliners were Ecobank Ghana Limited (EBG) down GH¢0.01 at GH¢3. 34 and Fan Milk Limited (FML) eased GH¢0.01 at GH¢7.86. Market Capitalization was up at GH¢18,397.64 million.
