Accra bourse index goes up in a dull market

Accra, May 31, GNA - Share prices ended higher on the Ghana Stock Exchange on Monday, with the GSE-All Share Index, the key gauge, moving up 7.81 points to close at 6,853 points in a dull market.

Change Year to Date now stands at 92.86 points.

Traded volumes sank to 74,100 shares from Friday's high of 341,000 shares.

In the broader market, there were four price changes. Accra Brewery Limited (ABL) gained 39 cedis at 800 cedis, Cocoa Processing Company went up five cedis at 1,740 cedis, Guinness Ghana Limited (GGL) was up 50 cedis at 12,100 cedis and Home Finance Company made one cedi at 10,108 cedis.

Market Capitalisation was up at 96,441.28 billion cedis from 3,301.08 million issued shares up from 96,421.27 billion cedis at the previous close on Friday.
