Accra bourse opens the week poorer

Accra, Dec. 12, GNA - The Ghana Stock Exchange (GSE) began the week on Monday poorer as the GSE All-Share Index, the main market index, lost 7.45 points at 4,785.21 points.

Change for the year slid to -29.61 per cent on the loss of 81 cedis by Accra Brewery Limited at 1,399 cedis. However, Guinness Ghana Breweries Limited gained three cedis at 7,725 cedis. Cocoa Processing Company sold 94,300 shares out of the 114,400 shares that changed hands. Market capitalisation was down at 91,900.10 billion cedis from 3,393.18 million issued shares.
