Airtel Ghana hosts fitness coach and dietician as part of Breast Cancer Awareness Month

As part of activities to create awareness on breast cancer throughout the month of October, Airtel Ghana hosted a seasoned fitness coach and a dietician at its offices recently to educate employees on lifestyle habits that reduces the incidence of breast cancer.

Ms. Ameyaa Appiah Agyekum, a dietician and CEO of Amaziah Organics entreated employees to adopt healthy eating habits which she said is important in the fight against breast cancer. She encouraged participants to adopt a balanced diet and always opt for healthier choices.

Ms. Bambie Bamfo popularly known as Coach Bino on social media took employees through the benefits of exercising and keeping their bodies in great shape. She offered Airtel employees advice on simple exercise regimes they can easily inculcate into their daily routines to stay fit. She took some employees through a rigorous workout session after the talk.

Breast cancer month is observed annually at Airtel Ghana through a series of employee led activities to raise awareness and funds in support of breast cancer education, prevention and cure.

The month long initiative will end on Friday 28th November with a novel cooking competition. Funds raised through this initiative will be donated to organisations involved in the cause.
