Alisa Hotel Wins Yet Another Award

Barely a few months after being honoured with the New Comer of the year award 2001 by the Greater Accra Regional Tourism Awards Committee, Alisa Hotel, has scored another mark.

The 3-Star Hotel situated at East Cantoments in Accra, picked another prize - New Comer of the year Award, at the 5th National Tourism awards held at the Banquet Hall, at the State House last weekend.

A citation accompanying the award stated that the 3-Star Hotel has within a short span of time made its mark with unique facilities and services to ensure guest comfort and satisfaction.

Mr. Grant Foli, Assistant Manager of the hotel received the prize and citation from Hon. Jake Obetsebi-Lamptey, Minister for Information and Presidential Affairs.

Commenting on the award, Mr. Foli said, management considers the awards as not only a motivation but a challenge to further raise their output to meet the demands of clients and thereby support the promotion and development of tourism in the country.

More than 44 individuals and organisations were similarity honoured for excellence at the ceremony which was attended by Ministers of State and top-level management personnel of the Tourist Board.
