Accra, Dec. 29, GNA- The benchmark GSE-All Share Index rose 15.54 points when trading on the bourse resumed on Monday after the Christmas break.
The index went up to close at 3,481.40 points from 3,465.86 at the previous session.
Traded volumes, however, slipped to close at 188,900 shares down from a high of 1.2 million shares on Wednesday. There were six positive price changes.
Fan Milk was up 50 cedis at 3,800 cedis, Ghana Commercial Bank rose 42 cedis at 8,155 cedis and Guinness Ghana Limited gained 49 cedis at 5,600 cedis.
Home Finance Company gained 99 cedis at 3,750 cedis, Patterson Zochonis went up by 50 cedis at 2,700 cedis and SSB Bank was richer by 200 cedis at 19,200 cedis.
Market capitalisation increased at 12,434.89 billion cedis from 12,395.65 billion cedis at the previous trading session on Wednesday.
