The Assinman Rural Bank at Assin Manso made a profit before tax of 355,212.00 Ghana cedis in 2013 as against 231, 435.00 Ghana cedis in 2012.
The bank’s total deposit increased from 7,988,000.00 in 2012 to 6,421.339.00 in 2013.
The Chairman of the Board of Director of the Bank, Mr Frank Owusu, said this known at the 21st Annual General Meeting of the bank at Ajumako.
Mr Owusu said the bank’s total asset also increased from 9,650,466.00 Ghana cedis in 2012 to 10,218,986.00 Ghana cedis in the year under review.
He said 27, 318.00 Ghana cedis were used to support some socio-economic projects to enhance the livelihood of the communities and institutions in the catchments areas.
The Bank inaugurated a building it has constructed as its offices at Ajumako at a cost of 500,000 Ghana cedis.
The Omanhene of Ajumako Traditional Area, Okokodurfo Ogyaabuor Kwamena Hammah Ababio II, assisted by an official of the Bank of Ghana and an ARB Apex Bank official, inaugurated the building.
