BabyFest Fair 2011 to be launched in Ghana

Accra, July 11, GNA - Ticklz and Gigglz, Events and Consulting Company, which specializes in kid related activities and parenting, would organise baby and parenting fair for parents, in Accra from 4-6 February next year.

A statement signed by Mrs. Esi Yankah, Event organiser of the group, and copied GNA, said that the three-day fair is aimed at achieving the Millennium Development Goals.

It said that the fair would combine education and recreation to showcase and celebrate the beauty of motherhood, baby related issues and the art of parenting.

The statement said it was important that every baby was treated with utmost care, adding that paying careful attention to babies and their development was a long-term investment every parent needed.

It said that information on Vitro fertilization would be provided for childless people to also share the joy of parenting.

The statement said that hospitals, banks, day care centres, nutrition experts, paediatricians, operators of pre-schools, specialists and midwives would all have the opportunity to showcase their potentials.

It said that "This presents an opportunity for companies to promote their business or products" adding that the fair would be an annual event that would target parents to help reduce child mortality and improve maternal health.

"This Fair will offer exciting activities including the pregnant

women, babies and parents photo contest", the statement said.

The New Bump Club and Baby Club together with many other parent clubs would be launched.
