Bamson launches Crown Paints Promo to support housing sector

Bamson Company Limited, local representatives of Crown Paints, United Kingdom (UK), has announced a special campaign aimed at helping to ease the increasing pressure on Ghana’s housing sector.

Under the ‘Crown Special Promotion’, home-owners, housing companies, painters and all other customers, who purchase the company’s new 10-litre Crown Pure Brilliant White Matt Emulsion Paint will get GHC40 instant cash back.

In a release to the press, the Sales and Technical Manager at Bamson, Mr Samuel Ankrah said, “Buyers will enjoy about 30 per cent discount on the product, which will bring the price down from GHC140 to GHC100. We are happy to stress that the offer is valid while stocks last,” He observed that presently, Ghana is facing challenges in the economy, which has affected the already ailing housing sector.

“There are building projects going on around the country, which need painting and through this promotion we hope to help in that direction,” Mr Ankrah noted.

He said, besides the Crown Pure Brilliant White Matt Emulsion Paint, Bamson, which also markets household brands such as Sikkens and Sandtex paints, has introduced several other Crown products for masonry, metal and wood works, in line with its drive to help reduce the growing housing deficit.

According to Mr Emmanuel Akoto Bamfo, the Business Development Manager at Bamson, the Crown products come with pot samples for customers to use and take decisions on texture, colour choices etc.

He observed that the period when fathers alone took decisions on the colour of paints to be used in their homes is over. “Now every member of the family wants to have a say in the choice of colours for the interior and exterior of the house and pot samples make that very easy,” he pointed out.

He added that the promotion is a countrywide campaign and not limited to Accra alone.

“Indeed, we are committed to supporting the housing sector by offering top quality paints for the maintenance of existing residential and commercial properties as well as the development of new beautiful homes and structures in all parts of the country, Mr Bamfo emphasised.
