With the current state of the economy and the rise in the cost of fuel, most commercial drivers have lamented the high cost and how it affects their profits.

According to a cross-section of drivers interviewed on BizTech this week, fuel prices eat up a great margin of their income.

They noted that they are mostly unable to fill their tanks because they are not able to afford it.

A driver who uses a Ford vehicle for "trotro" said he needed between GH¢1300 and GH¢1400 to be able to fill his tank.

But because he is unable to afford that, he buys between GH¢500 and GH¢600.
