Bourse inches up on the back of PZ, Camelot

Accra, May 4, GNA - The Ghana Stock Exchange (GSE) made a slight recovery on Wednesday on the back of gains by Patterson Zochonis (PZ) and Camelot (CMLT) after a series of losses that have put the performance of the bourse firmly in the red.

The GSE All-Share Index, the benchmark measure, inched up by 1.07 points at 6,103.28 points from Tuesday's close of 6,102.21 points and change for the year was slightly better at -10.23 per cent from -10.04 per cent.

Market capitalisation ended better at 95,189.99 billion cedis from 95,187.16 billion cedis.

PZ was 100 cedis better at 6,000 cedis and CMLT gained five cedis at 1,580 cedis.

Total shares traded ended lower at 66,400 shares from 90,400 on Tuesday.
