British business expert to meet businessmen and HR experts in Accra

Accra, May 20, GNA - A three-day conference for Human Resource Manag= ers is scheduled for Accra from July 8-10.

It is to empower Ghanaian and African businesses to effectively appl= y human resource practices to enhance productivity. The conference is under the theme: "Brighter Futures 2010-Developing= a Skilled Workforce for Africa."

A statement issued in Accra on Thursday and signed by Mr Paul Asino= r, Event Organiser, copied to Ghana News Agency said the participants would learn how to influence vital contribution of human capital management int= o their strategic company plans.

It said there would be job recruitment exhibition where companies would showcase job vacancies, recruitment services and products to jobseekers as well as a platform for exhibiting companies to promote thei= r products and services, while recruiting job seekers directly. The statement said Mr Simon Griffiths, a British business expert an= d Managing Director of Reciproca Limited, based in the United Kingdom with diverse corporate experience and knowledge would share with Ghanaian companies how to apply clear objectives, forward planning and effective communication to develop their companies. "This would be a conference for corporate bodies, government organisations, NGOs, tourism, hospitality, financial and insurance companies, mobile and technology companies," it added.
