On the occasion of the official opening ceremony on the 6th of June at the Best Western Premier Hotel, the Ambassador of France to Ghana, HE Francois Pujolas, recalled the need of digital solutions in Ghana, and the solutions provided by French companies, striving for Ghana’s technological progression through bilateral Ghanaian-French partnerships.
He reminded as an important step forward, the MoU signed last month between the Melt Water School of Technology in Accra and Paris&Co, the economic development and innovation agency of Paris, to facilitate the circulation of start-ups between Accra and Paris.
The President of the CCIFG, Mr Patrick Prado, underlined the fact the “Ghanaian population is principally young and as such the demand for digitised solutions to facilitate daily life activities are increasing” before recalling that “adapting to a digital economy is the grand challenge of our time”.
