Chairman To Loose Job Due To Mine Closure

Gold mining company Glencar Mining (GCM) said Richard Hooper, its chairman, would resign following the failure of operations at the Wassa mine in Ghana.

The mine will now be put up for sale as a going concern, which the company said would "leave Glencar with no debt, a significant number of exploration assets and sufficient cash resources to continue its exploration".
