Change in management won’t affect power supply – ECG Board Chair assures

The Board Chairman for the Electricity Company of Ghana, Alexander Afenyo-Markin, has assured the people of Ghana that the change in leadership of the company will not affect its services.

According to him, the company’s machinery, personnel, and operations will continue to work to serve the people of Ghana as they have always done.

He indicated that the resignation of the former Managing Director has been accepted in good faith, and Mr. David Asamoah has been appointed to act as the Managing Director until the government decides on a permanent appointment.

“The board has received the support of the management in its decision, and we are here to assure you that the changes in management will not result in interrupted power supply. The entire system of the company is in place, and the company will continue to provide the essential service that it provides for Ghanaians and the entire country,” he said.
