The Ghana Cocoa Board said today it has since August 26, this year, granted provisional licenses to 13 companies to purchase coffee/coffee and sheanut/shea butter products. This is in line with the board's policy to introduce competition into the internal and external marketing of the two commodities. A statement issued in Accra listed the companies for coffee/coffee products as Mandaf Consult, Jemantwi Company Limited, Megadan Farms Limited, Mutual Holding Company Limited, Mashaco Limited, Similar Ways Limited, Capurigo Agro-Business Limited, Nataw Group of Companies and Jokumas Limited. The companies for sheanuts/sheabutter are Satiata Enterprise Limited, Jemantwi Company Limited, Pakim Company Limited and Bafcot Company Limited.
