Computer company develops software in Ghana

A Ghana based computer company has developed a computer software to facilitate processing of bills, terminal reports and continuous assessment of students in second cycle schools.

The software, developed by Computer Solutions Ltd, will also relieve parents and guardians of the headaches associated with delayed receipt of school bills and terminal reports.

A ceremony to launch and introduce the software to some heads of schools was organised by the company in Accra. Mr Kwabena Kyere, Deputy Minister of Education, who launched the software expressed concern about parents' inability to assess the performance of their children and discuss their academic problems before they go back to school.

Mr Adolf Agbodza, Managing Director of Computer Solutions said the software will relieve teachers of manual compilation of examination and class work marks and from writing out terminal reports.
