Coral Paints to sponsor Ghana Int’l Business Network confab

As part of the fifth anniversary celebration of Entrepreneurs Foundation of Ghana, the foundation is organizing Ghana International Business Network (GIBN), a breakfast meeting for Ghanaian top entrepreneurs to interact, network and do business with foreign investors and Diplomatic Corps in Ghana.

The event which is scheduled for Wednesday, March 25, 2015 at Alisa Hotel- Accra is on the theme: “Enhancing Strategic Business Alliance between Domestic and Foreign Investors for Sustainable Economic Development”.

This years’ business conference is being sponsored by Coral Paints, a subsidiary of Akzonobel- the largest global paints and coatings company, with support from Export Trade, Agricultural & Industrial Development Fund, GIHOC Distilleries and Ghana Business and Finance Magazine and Unicredit Ghana Ltd

Ghana International Business Network is expected to attract over 100 guests including Hon. Dr. Ekwow Spio-Garbrah, Minister of Trade and Industry as the Guest of Honor, Hon. Mrs. Mona Quartey, Dep. Minister of Finance, Dr. Micheal Agyekum-Addo, Chairman, Ghana Investment Promotion, Nana Osei Bonsu, Chief Executive Officer, Private Enterprise Federation, Dr. Seth Adjei-Baah, President, Ghana Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Chargé d'Affaires Ms.C. Patricia Alsup. Deputy Chief of Mission United States Embassy, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Morocco in Ghana H.E Mrs. Nesha Alaoui M’HAMMDI, H.E.Ademola Oluseyi Onafowokan, Nigerian High Commissioner to Ghana will address Ghanaian entrepreneurs on strategic business alliance opportunities.

GIBN 2015 is a platform for Ghanaian top entrepreneurs to interact, network and do business with foreign investors and Diplomatic Corps in Ghana. It is dedicated to developing sustainable strategic business alliance and investment priorities to enhance domestic and international business partnerships and also create new opportunities.

In a statement released and signed by President and Founder of Entrepreneurs Foundation of Ghana, Mr Sam Ato Gaisie stated that the foundation is “placing an explicit focus on creating new international and domestic business-to-business relationships and commercial openings for small, medium and large Ghanaian companies”.

The statement added that one of the prime objectives of 2015 GIBN is to foster new business relationships and opportunities that may in time lead to direct commercial trade and investment outcomes for Ghana and international companies of all sizes across all sectors.

“The global competition is increasing day by day, so to improve productivity and market shares strategic alliances are made which benefit firms. As a result of global competition and the constant growing demands for new technologies, strategic alliances are becoming popular and important as its goal is to support the competitiveness of the activities concerned”, the statement quoted.

The business network is expected to connect Ghanaian businesses into international markets, bringing together the entrepreneurial minds and the best business opportunities.
