Delta's revised Accra-New York flight times take effect

Delta Air Lines’ new flight schedules on the Accra-New York route has taken effect March 29, 2015.

Delta Air Lines said the revision is to offer customers improved flight connections to destinations across the United States, Latin America and the Caribbean.

“The revised schedules will increase the number of same-day onward flight connections available to customers flying from Accra to New York,” the US carrier said in a statement released.

According to Delta, it will operate four times per week using a 225 seat Boeing 767-300ER aircraft.

Delta’s Commercial Manager for West and East Africa, Bobby Bryan, said “This new schedule is great news for our customers as it will mean increased travel options for destinations in the United States and beyond.”

The new move will also allow for more options for cargo forwarders and handlers when shipping Ghanaian goods to the United States.

Delta has operated service to Ghana since December 2006 and now operates service to four African cities in four countries.
