The Director of Tema Port, Sandra Opoku, has paid a courtesy call to the Marine Police and Railways Unit of the Ghana Police Service, to strengthen ties between the Port and the police administration.
The Director of Tema Port, Sandra Opoku who has embarked on some official visits to stakeholders of the Port following her appointment, described the Maine Police Unit as a key contributor to the Port of Tema’s progress and expressed a readiness to collaborate with the Unit as Director of Port.
The Head of the Marine Police Unit, Superintendent Joseph Ababio stated that ever since he took office, his outfit has been instrumental in preventing potential threats to the Port community and emphasized his outfit’s dedication to continue to assist the Port Security department to create a safe, secure Port environment.
