The General Manager (GM) of the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) in the Central Region, Ing. Dr. Kwabena Adomah, has charged staff of the company in the region to work hard to improve productivity.

He was speaking in an interview with DAILY GUIDE recently upon his appointment.

According to Dr. Adomah, his vision is among other things, to improve upon the achievements of the company in the region.

That, he noted, could not be achieved if the staff did not work hard.

Dr. Adomah stated, “I want to improve upon the company’s achievements, especially in the areas of supply stability and revenue collection.”

To make his vision a reality, the new GM cautioned that lateness and wasteful use of the company’s resources would not be countenanced under his watch.

He said ECG, as a company, cherishes its numerous customers and always desires to build and maintain a cordial relationship with them.

He finally appealed to the staff to work together as a united force to meet the company’s vision of becoming one of the best electricity distribution companies in the West African sub-region.

Ing. Dr. Adomah, who has over 26 years’ working experience with the Electricity Company of Ghana, replaced Anokye Abebreseh as the general manager for the region.
